Every Transaction Begins with a Decision
In international trade, discussions often revolve around pricing, product quality, logistics, and payment terms. Yet those who have spent years in this industry know that the success of a transaction is determined long before a contract is signed.
It begins when a buyer must choose between multiple suppliers.
It begins when the credibility of a business partner needs to be assessed.
It begins when payment structures, delivery procedures, and commercial risks must be carefully evaluated.
And sometimes, it begins with the decision not to proceed at all.
Many of the most important moments in international trade happen before a transaction starts. They happen during the decision-making process.
Coolak was founded in 2017 on a simple belief: successful trade should be built on analysis, transparency, and structured decision-making—not on assumptions, pressure, or uncertainty.
Why We Exist
Throughout our experience in regional and international markets, we have observed a recurring challenge.
The problem is often not the lack of a genuine buyer.
Nor is it the lack of a capable supplier.
The real challenge lies in bridging the gap between the two.
Incomplete information, unverified business partners, poorly structured procedures, and hidden risks can prevent otherwise valuable opportunities from becoming successful transactions.
Coolak was established to help close that gap.
Our purpose is not simply to facilitate the movement of goods. Our role is to create the conditions for better commercial decisions, lower transactional risks, and stronger business relationships.
Bringing a More Scientific Approach to Trade
One of the key motivations behind the creation of Coolak was the belief that international trade should be guided by knowledge, analysis, and structure.
Too often, commercial decisions are driven by incomplete information, assumptions, or short-term considerations. While experience remains valuable, experience alone is not enough.
Every transaction is ultimately a series of decisions.
And every decision becomes more effective when it is supported by reliable information, careful evaluation, and a clear understanding of risk.
For us, knowledge is not an academic concept.
Its value lies in helping businesses make better choices, reduce uncertainty, and build sustainable commercial relationships.
This philosophy continues to shape the way we approach every project, every client, and every transaction.
How We Work
Every engagement begins with understanding the client's actual needs.
Before discussing suppliers, pricing, or procedures, we focus on gaining a clear picture of the commercial objective.
What product is required?
What are the logistical constraints?
What payment structure is preferred?
What market conditions could influence the transaction?
Once the requirements are clearly defined, relevant suppliers are evaluated.
However, our assessment extends beyond pricing.
We review supplier credibility, operational capability, transaction procedures, documentation quality, delivery structures, inspection processes, and the overall risk profile of each option.
In many cases, multiple suppliers may be capable of providing the same product. The challenge is identifying which option offers the most suitable balance of reliability, security, and commercial practicality for the buyer.
The final recommendation is based on what best serves the client's interests—not simply on what appears most attractive at first glance.
There have been occasions when our recommendation was not to proceed immediately.
In certain market conditions, waiting can be a better decision than buying.
Although such advice may postpone or even eliminate a transaction, we believe protecting our clients from unnecessary risk is more important than pursuing short-term opportunities.
Trust cannot be built through promises alone. It is built through decisions.
Beyond Commodity Trading
Today, Coolak's activities are focused on three interconnected areas.
Strategic Sourcing
We provide access to verified suppliers and producers across Iran and regional markets, helping buyers source products with greater confidence and transparency.
Our primary areas of focus include petroleum products, petrochemicals, fertilizers, base metals, and mineral commodities.
Market Development
For producers and exporters, entering new markets requires more than finding potential customers.
Market understanding, buyer qualification, commercial negotiations, and relationship development are all critical components of sustainable growth.
We support businesses in identifying and developing reliable opportunities in regional and international markets.
Commercial Advisory Services
Drawing on practical trade experience and expertise in international contracting, service design, and behavioral decision-making, we help organizations improve commercial structures, strengthen customer relationships, and make more informed strategic decisions.
What Makes Our Approach Different
At Coolak, we believe that successful transactions are built on trust, transparency, and informed decision-making.
This belief is reflected in several principles that guide our work:
Transparency throughout the commercial process
Careful verification before presenting opportunities
Risk reduction before problems arise
Practical and executable transaction structures
Long-term business relationships rather than short-term gains
These principles are not marketing statements.
They are the standards by which we evaluate our own decisions.
Looking Ahead
International trade is evolving rapidly.
Supply chains are changing.
Markets are becoming increasingly interconnected.
Commercial risks are growing more complex.
In this environment, businesses need more than access to products. They need reliable information, sound judgment, and partners who understand both the opportunities and the risks involved.
We believe the future belongs to organizations that successfully combine experience, analysis, and transparency.
That belief continues to guide our vision for the years ahead.
More Than a Transaction
We do not see ourselves simply as suppliers, consultants, or intermediaries.
Our role is to help businesses navigate complexity with greater confidence, make better-informed decisions, and build stronger commercial relationships.
For us, every transaction represents more than a commercial exchange.
It is an opportunity to create trust.
It is an opportunity to establish a long-term partnership.
And it is an opportunity to demonstrate that international trade can be conducted with greater clarity, professionalism, and accountability.
If there is one statement that best reflects who we are, it is this:
Secure Trade Begins with Better Decisions.

What Our Clients Say
You Asked, We Answered
Whether you are sourcing industrial materials, evaluating a trade opportunity, or seeking commercial advisory support, the questions below explain how Coolak approaches international business engagements.
Our sourcing activities focus mainly on industrial commodities and raw materials, including petroleum products, petrochemicals, fertilizers, base metals, and mineral products.
We also provide commercial and B2B advisory services for businesses seeking to improve market development, customer decision journeys, commercial processes, or their approach to new markets.
Depending on the engagement, this may include clarifying sourcing requirements, identifying and evaluating relevant suppliers, reviewing commercial procedures, coordinating technical and commercial information, supporting negotiations, and helping structure documentation, inspection, delivery, and contractual processes.
The objective is to reduce avoidable uncertainty, identify potential risks earlier, and create a clearer and more practical path toward a commercial decision. We do not assume that every opportunity should become a transaction; when significant concerns are identified, the appropriate decision may also be to reconsider, restructure, or postpone the opportunity.
Our team reviews the request to understand the transaction requirements before discussing suitable supply options, procedures, or next steps.
After reviewing the initial requirements, we can outline the relevant process and next steps. For sourcing and trade inquiries, factors such as supplier evaluation, negotiation, inspection, contracting, logistics, and required documentation may affect the overall timeline.
